My employer allows most of its workforce to work from home. They employ about 10,000 employees and issue each a Dell laptop. Recently, they sent me a new Dell laptop (I’ve had my old one for over four years).
Coincidentally, my kids’ desktop computer just died recently. The hard drive just ground to a halt and burned out. I searched all of my usual places for the best bang for the buck—Amazon, Costco, Dell, and Newegg—and chose a new computer for myself (my current one went to the kids). I ended up ordering a Dell XPS Tower – 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13700 – GeForce RTX 4060 – Windows 11 from Costco (there was a $300 off deal on it).
So I received not one, but two brand new Dell computers recently. I’ve always believed that if I’m making a purchase, there are probably at least another million people making the same decision. Also, the PEG ratio, business quality score, and free cash flow percentage was looking good for Dell stock. For those reasons, I invested in Dell stock (ticker: DELL) as a long term investment.
